Our Ranch Belts are handcrafted from premium Italian equestrian leather, one of the world's most distinctive and sought-after leathers. A rare leather traditionally favored for fine saddlery and equestrian goods, Italian horsehide offers a distinctive combination of strength, elegance, and longevity.

Unlike conventional cowhide, exceptional equestrian leather is produced from a small, dense section of the horsehide known as the croup, the upper hindquarter area prized for its remarkable fiber structure and strength. Because only a limited portion of each hide is suitable for this purpose, equestrian leather remains a rare and highly regarded luxury material.

Renowned for its durability, equestrian leather features a dense, tight grain that provides exceptional resistance to stretching, abrasion, and loss of shape. Naturally rich in oils, it offers a smooth, lustrous surface while providing added protection against moisture and everyday wear.

Initially firmer than traditional cowhide, equestrian leather gradually softens with use, conforming comfortably to its owner while developing a rich patina that enhances its character and beauty over time.

Material: Ranch leather

• As a rule of thumb, your belt size is 2” larger than your pants’ waist size. For example, if you wear size 36 pants, you will probably do well with a size 38 belt. Please ensure your belt size before ordering, we’d hate for you to be disappointed with an incorrectly sized belt.

Hardware: Each of these belt straps is equipped with three snaps, designed to perfectly hold a buckle as well as two keepers or loops. Attaching your buckle to your new belt strap is a breeze with the easy snap-on feature. Additionally, every belt strap includes a leather keeper/loop. 

Buckle: Tom Taylor offers premium handmade belt straps that come without buckles. Find the perfect silver or gold belt buckle for your new premium handmade belt strap!
