The beautiful, hand-crafted Fusion - Rocket 88 buckle set is reminiscent of a classic old American car, with sterling silver "fenders" on the sides of the buckle and tip, and "car hood" sculpting of the tip. As in all of Neil's Fusion buckle creations, Neil uniquely hand-crafted this buckle set from metal plate, bar, and wire. The Fusion - Rocket 88 belt buckle set is true wearable art, and makes a great gift for graduation, retirement, and more.
Neil enjoys experimenting with different kinds of Mokume-gane. The Fusion - Rocket 88 is a classy, hand-crafted 4-piece set made from sterling silver and Mokume-gane. Mokume-gane (Japanese for "wood grained metals") is a type of Japanese married metal made from diffusion bonded laminates, typically consisting of nickel, silver, brass, and copper, and often used in decorating swords.
This artistic and fun 4-piece set is a statement of individuality on any straight belt strap. It is substantial without being too heavy.
