The Fusion – Sydney showcases Neil Hunt’s artistry with Mokume-Gane, the Japanese “wood-grain metal” forged from layered nickel silver, brass, and copper. Cut from a single piece of Mokume-Gane, the buckle displays flowing, wave-like patterns that wrap seamlessly around the edges, giving it a sculptural, modern presence. The brass tongue and bail add a warm contrast that complements the natural movement in the metal.
Hand-crafted from plate, bar, and wire, each Fusion buckle is uniquely shaped and finished by Neil himself—a true piece of wearable art that blends Eastern and Western influences with understated elegance.
